how it all started
Wrens-Nest Design is run by Chris Wren, an engineer by profession who discovered a talent for web-design as a result of trying to learn Greek... Confused? He was!
OK, Let's try to explain. He created a website, speak-greek.co.uk in order to share the limited resources he had found to learn the modern Greek Language with other students of the language and interact with them through a message board. To do this, of course, he had to learn the art of web-design. This project has since been handed over to be run by another person, but that was the springboard that started the whole thing in motion .

He built a website for his auto-electrical business wren-auto.co.uk, then took on responsibility for his church's website and promptly redesigned it by cleaning up the source code and converting it to a CSS based layout, vastly improved loading times over the original Dreamweaver generated code.

Before he knew it friends and colleagues were asking him to design web-sites until it developed into the business whose history you are now reading.
